Our new CEO image

A thrilled welcome from myself, the Board, and the Smart Works team to Kate Stephens, Smart Works’ new CEO. Kate is dynamic, hard working and inspirational. The perfect person to lead Smart Works in our mission to roll out nationwide and help ever more women into employment. Smart Works Edinburgh are already up and running, and with more locations in the pipeline it looks to be an exciting year ahead under Kate’s leadership.

Juliet Hughes-Hallet, Chair of Trustees

Kate says:

“It is an absolute privilege to take up this role. Smart Works is a brilliantly simple and practical concept that works. Over half the women we see go on and get the job. We now want to take the Smart Works service to as many women as we can across the UK. We want to engage inspirational women who might be willing to bring Smart Works to their home city.”

Kate brings an extensive communications background in the private sector, and also Co-Chairs a leading campaigning charity in the family sector.
