The Smart Works Designer Sale was held on 21 May and we are thrilled to be able to say that it was our best ever fundraising event. We took almost £70 000, which is a fantastic achievement and a great credit to the extraordinary work that goes in to the event, not just over the weekend but in the weeks and months leading up to it.
Thank you to everyone who helped, whether sorting, pricing, unloading, hanging, merchandising, selling or, of course, shopping.
The money raised will make a significant contribution to our core costs over the coming year, as we build the platform to keep our London service first class, whilst taking the Smart Works model to new locations around the UK. Raising money under our enterprises, such as the sale, helps keep the Smart Works ethos strong and focused on this mission. Thank you so much to everyone who makes this possible.
Here is to a fantastic year ahead. And in the meantime, Victoria and her team are already planning on how we build on this for 2017.
