Smart Works is launching our Graduate Trainee Scheme for the third year, and are looking to recruit two hardworking graduates to join our core staff team in 2020.
Our 12-month Graduate Training Scheme will recruit up to two talented and driven individuals who will be involved in all aspects of running a small, fast paced and growing organisation.
The scheme is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for an introduction to the charity sector. You will be given stretching targets and challenging objectives. You will be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual, ready to join an organisation where no day is ever the same, roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running. You will become an integral part of all aspects of the day-to-day running of Smart Works and will be given considerable responsibility.
“From running of the office, managing volunteers and attending meetings across London, no day at Smart Works is the same and that is what makes it such an exciting and interesting introduction to the charity sector.”
– Charlotte Owens, Graduate Trainee 2018
Alongside opportunities to get involved in other areas of the charity’s work, the scheme will focus on the day to day running of Smart Works. Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery, you would help to ensure our organisation grows in a sustainable way, delivers a best-in-class service and supports as many women as possible.
“The focus on service delivery provides a unique chance to have a tangible impact on the lives of the women we see. Being able to see the difference our work makes is such a rare opportunity in any charity, and makes every day so rewarding.”
– Emma McAuliffe, Graduate Trainee 2019
If you thrive in an environment where no day is the same, are keen to be proactive and positive when faced with any challenge and want to use your skills to make a difference, then we strongly encourage you to apply.
“The Smart Works Graduate Scheme is fast-paced, fun, interesting and eye-opening; if you want to make a real difference and grow your career with the Smart Works community, do apply.”
– Jenna Chick, Graduate Trainee 2018
Further information about the scheme can be found here, or on the Guardian Jobs website, and applications will be open until 31st January.
